Field Trips

Thanksgiving Point field trips are created in partnership with Utah State University Extension 4-H to correspond to state core curriculum requirements.


Join us for explorations of Farm Country, Career Day Tours, the Museum of Ancient Life, the XanGo Mammoth Screen 3D Theatre, and the Children’s Discovery Garden.  Students from Preschool on visit Thanksgiving Point to solidify lessons from the classroom with experience. 

K-8 Field Trips

Museum of Ancient Life

Museum of Ancient Life field trips enhance in-class learning with educational experiences. Developed with teacher input, each grade level’s field trip benefits students through a variety
of hands-on exhibits and activities.

XanGo Mammoth Screen 3D Theatre
Enjoy a 3D learning experience in the Mammoth Screen Theatre. Featuring educational films that bring science to vivid life, our theatre is a great stand alone experience or an add-on to your field trip.

Farm Country
Come to the farm to discover fun, hands-on activities that help you incorporate agriculture into your classroom experience.

Children's Discovery Garden

An oasis of fun and learning, the Children's Discovery Garden features enviornmental exhibits that demonstrate geology, ecosystems, and plant life. 

Career Education

Career education helps lay the groundwork for future career development. It helps students learn about their interests, aptitudes, and skills. It also helps students develop a positive attitude toward work. Thanksgiving Point’s career experiences give students with an in-depth look at a variety of careers.
